Farmer’s Market

I saw on Facebook that the farmer’s market in Logan square was going to have goat cheese and hand-spun wool yarn!  So we went over this weekend.  It was in the lobby of a small old beautiful theater.  But there was not much there.  The goat cheese people canceled.  😦  But we did find a booth with a bunch of spices, some tasty baguettes and some herb plants!  🙂  I love trying new spices!

I used on of the spices to make some  super tasty garlic bread.

My recipe is

4 tbs butter
2 tbs finely grated parmesan cheese
1 tbs pesto spice
1/2 teas garlic powder
1/2 teas sea salt
1/4 teas ground pepper

Melt the butter and add all ingredients.

Refrigerate until the butter solidifies.  cut the baguette length wise and spread the garlic butter.  Place in the oven at 375 for about 15 minutes until crispy.

    Hi girl,
Love your site! And the straw hat is great and let’s not forget the garlic bread. Maybe you can make some while in FL.

    Hugs,
    Bobbi
