Salsa and Guacamole

I came up with a recipe for the best Guacamole last week!  It was so good, we made it two days in a row, and then on Friday as well and took it to a party.  I had so many comments and people asking for the recipe, that I thought I should share this one.  It only took about 20 minutes to make both the salsa and the Guacamole.

1 bunch green onions
1/2 bunch cilantro
2 limes
1 can tomato
1 pounds fresh tomatoes
4 large very soft avocados
1 large or 2 small jalapeno
1 tbs minced garlic
1/2 teas chili powder
Salt and Pepper to taste

Add t the food processor all the green onions, cilantro, garlic and jalapeno.

Chop to fine.  Zest both limes into the mix then set half of the mix to the side for the guacamole.

Add the can of tomatoes and chop.  Add the fresh tomatoes, chili powder, the juice from one lime, salt and pepper and chop just a little so the salsa is still chunky.

Add the avocados, juice form the other lime,  salt and pepper to the other mix that has been set aside.  With a fork mash the avocados.  Add tow tbs of the salsa to the guacamole and stir gently.  This recipe was a big hit and I found that the lime juice prevents it from browning like avocados like to.
